We cannot do what is required with our present small membership, all of whom are busy with work and other commitments, so we need to broaden our network of people who can help to support new refugees with settlement tasks such as finding and furnishing a house, getting their entitlements from Work and Income, enrolling adults in English classes or helping them to find employment, and enrolling children in schools.
